ABOUT THE PROJECT

Wakefield is a lovely village in Québec, Canada, and La Tortue de Wakefield is a treasure-filled shop and charming bed-and-breakfast in the heart of it. For the branding, I pulled from Scandinavian folk art and Mid-Century Modern design for inspiration, starting with distinct type and a custom drawn turtle (“la tortue” in French) and continuing with fun graphic elements and a joyful color palette. The website is polished, giving plenty room for its products and photos to shine. Designed by Darling for Aeolidia
